CertainTeed 12 Inch Filtered Ridge Vent has external baffles that maximize your airflow on the underside of your roof. This ensures the most efficient and effective ventilation all year around! This ridge vent is less than 1″ high, helping it to blend into your roof system with it’s lower profile. Made from a high-impact copolymer, this vent is strong, durable, and will blend in seamlessly for a visually appealing look. Paired with the right amount of intake ventilation like soffit or CertainTeed Intake Vents, these ridge vents form one of the most efficient and effective ventilation systems available. These vents are 12″ wide to permit capping with shingles or CertainTeed’s Shadow Ridge premium ridge cap for a great finished look. The filter sill also help prevent external debris and unwanted guest from entering your house.

• Manufactured from durable, polypropylene resin, capable of passing ASTM G155 advanced weathering test with less than 10% variance
• Weep holes placed on 4″ centers for proper water shedding from the cap shingles
• Cap shingles can be fastened atop with a nail gun set to 100 PSI without breakage
• Individual vent openings are no wider than 1/4″ to help prevent insects from entering attic
• Internal ribbing for flexibility in attaching to ridges with a roof pitch from 3/12 to 16/12
• Black finish for blending in with most shingle covers
• Dimensions: Each piece is 4′ long and 12″ wide.
• Sold in individual pieces (4 lf) or box (10 pcs for 40 lf) quantities
